1996 S14a nice spec

I never really followed the market on these cars and was wondering what sort of money it's worth? I'm goin this evening to look at it, might be doing a deal with my 2008 LCI 520D Msport. I know the car and owner well, it's a clean one from what I know of it, it's been parked with a few years. I gave €13600 for my car back in January off a dealer. I do a lot of travelling with work and it's not feesable for me to have the BMW parked up while I'm away because il loose too much money on it over the next few years.

whats it worth and what you would pay are too different numbers, €9500 is what he wants for it, il sell mine now if i got close to that lol

That's the donedeal price tho! The real world is a different story, I reckon €7500 would be a fair price for it.

Not going to look at it now until Saturday, he is looking €8-8500 cash sale. It's a bit on the steep side, it has a lot of work just done for the NCT but we might be able to deal. I'd really like to be rid of my 520D before I head away again, it's too much cash to have tied up in a car that's devaluing like they do.
