Want to know what yee think it's worth?
Has 120k miles on the clock
Not alot of history with it, has been dogged but still makes over 215bhp
Totally standard type r
Very heavy side impact damage, so bad it wrecked the seat, still runs and front wheels fine
Please don't start asking to buy it or were it is

if youre buying it off insurance company 500-1000. buying it off someone who knows what they have id say anywere from 1800-3000

The car in question is sitting in a yard for the past few months with one door and a piece of plastic over it, I'd feel like a retard giving anything over 900 for it

I put this down to the irish obsession with number plates.
If you owned both cars for 2 years which would cost more to maintain and which would e worth more when its selling time?

No offense or anything but I think if one of your main concerns is mpg and you pick a tdi as an example then there's not a whole lot of point in trying to explain to you why a DC5 is worth what it is

Why are you interested in the car anyway? If your opinion of a desirable car is some diesel wagon why not just buy one of them? Plenty of them going around these days unfortunately, all skimming the ground

OK bad comparison, I want it for k20 swap to my db6, and I have a Tdi fuel saving 'tractor' as the boys call it, been off the fasht car scene for a while. Drove a euro r today nd Ya no Tdi has the same kick.

Sure see if ya can get it at right money but 2-3g would be about right for it. If you got it for less than 2 you could probably keep the swap parts, sell the rest and cover yourself..

Cut the springs for the lowes, big wheels with Ditchfinder tyres, installed tuning box for the Schmoke and (if Audi) S-line/RS kit for the go faster look that has the TDI mpg

Have you looked into price of a kswap?
If your complaining bout the price of a standard dc2 the swap bits might comes as a surprise.
If you can get the dc5 for 800 jump on it
